Your guide will take you on a scenic drive along the coast. You will drive along the magnificent beach where the Inspector’s house aka “shack” is set up every year during the filming period. Your guide will describe the scenes filmed on this site and the difficult shooting environment for the actors. Please note: the Inspector’s house is only visible from May to October.
You will continue your excursion with a visit to Port Honoré, where all the scenes linked to the departure or arrival of a boat, or referring to a port, were filmed. You’ll discover a sublime view of the village bay, its church and a distant glimpse of Catherine’s bar. It’s a sublime spot for souvenir photos. Don’t forget your camera or smartphone!
Your guide will take you on a walking tour of the historic centre of Honoré village, where you’ll discover various filming locations: the church, Catherine’s first bar, etc. You’ll learn about the constraints of filming and what goes on behind the scenes.
He will take you to the Honoré police station for a photo stop. This is the only permanent filming location dedicated exclusively to this crime series. Your guide will explain the history of the site and the role it plays in the series. If it is open on the day of your visit, you are welcome to take some time to explore it. Visits are usually permitted from December to April.
Inside, you will see: the meeting room, the inspector’s and officers’ offices, cells, the suspect board, etc. Please note: the ticket price is not included in this tour (€15 / $20 [price applicable for the previous season 2024/2025]) and is at your own expense.
The walking tour will end at Catherine’s Bar, where your guide will show you around. After a brief introduction to the bar and a few minutes to take photos, your guide will give you 20 minutes of free time to enjoy the restaurant as you wish. You can simply have a drink at the bar (if it’s open, or at another venue), relax on the small beach next to the bar, or go for a short stroll.
After your free time, your guide will take you on a scenic drive along the coast, and your driver will stop so you can admire the breathtaking views. At the next stop, you’ll also enjoy a stunning view of a hotel complex, a recurring filming location for the series and the place where the film crews stay.
After this stop, it will be time to board your minibus for the return journey to your hotel or the port of Deshaies or Pointe-à-Pitre Cruise Terminal.

- ‘Reserve now and pay later’: this payment option requires payment to be made at the start of the private tour. Only cash payments will be accepted.
- Minimum 2 adults: Tour requires at least 2 participants to operate.

- Comfortable shoes: Tour involves walking, so comfortable footwear is recommended.
- Walking tour of the Village d’Honoré: this tour involves walking and/or climbing steps for around 40 minutes, often on unpaved and uneven ground.
- Accessibility: A large amount of walking and or climbing is required, often over unpaved and uneven terrain. You should be in good physical health if you reserve this tour. This excursion is not accessible to wheelchairs or electric scooters.
- This tour is not suitable for people with hearing or visual impairments. We recommend that anyone with a hearing or visual impairment is always accompanied by an able-bodied person who can guide and assist them.
- It is not recommended for people suffering from motion sickness, as the roads in the north of Basse-Terre island have many bends.
- Please note that this tour does not include lunch at Catherine’s Bar. However, you are welcome to stop there for a few minutes (20 minutes) for a drink if you wish.Drinks at Catherine’s Bar are not included.
- The Honoré police station: The station may be closed on the day of your tour. In this case, a photo stop outside will always be scheduled during the tour. The cost of the visit is at your own expense (€15/$20).
- Pricing: Prices are listed per person in Euros (EUR).
- Child policy: All participants, including children, require a booked seat. Carrying children on laps is not allowed.
- Child age: Indicate child’s age at booking for a proper car seat (if needed).
- Age restriction: Children under 5 years old are not permitted on the tour.
- Bring your own water bottle: We’re eco-friendly and no longer provide plastic bottles.
- This tour is not available on saturdays, christmas eve, new year’s eve, easter sundays, shrove sunday, monday and tuesdays/ash wednesdays.
- The next toilet stop will be one hour from the start of the tour.
