ITINERARY:
A small-group immersion in one of the key towns in north-east Guadeloupe, departing from Pointe-à-Pitre, 100% all-inclusive!
Let yourself be guided during this half-day tour and discover one of the most beautiful and lively local markets in the archipelago, as well as an unique artisanal rhum factory.
After a comfortable ride in our minibus, you’ll begin the tour at Domaine de Letaye, the only artisanal rhum distillery on this side of the island. It was the last distillery to open its doors in Guadeloupe. However, thanks to its international award-winning rhums, it is already a benchmark on the island.
Their in-house guide will show you how they make their agricole rhums, then take you on a tour of their cellar, where you will taste a selection of exceptional rhums.
Your guide will then take you to the Moule food market. You’ll be immersed in the vibrant atmosphere of Guadeloupe’s markets. This market is unique in that it is the meeting point for craftspeople, farmers and the local population. It’s the ideal place to discover the island’s culture.
From one artisan to the next, your guide will show you the local specialities and their history. You’ll be offered a tasting session with commentary that’s as varied as it is rich: fruit, cakes, dishes, drinks, sandwiches… local gastronomy will hold no secrets for you.
This food tour, the only one of its kind in Guadeloupe, will give you an unforgettable afternoon.
