A small-group immersion in the rums of Guadeloupe, departing from the Pointe-à-Pitre cruise terminal, 100% all-inclusive!

Let yourself be guided and enjoy this special half-day of rum tasting and discovery of exceptional Guadeloupean distilleries with a guide specialising in rums. After a comfortable ride in our minibus, you’ll start the tour at two of Guadeloupe’s exceptional distilleries.

You will visit the Papa Rouyo distillery. You’ll be immersed in a distillery on a human scale, whose controlled production makes it possible to produce rums of remarkable finesse. You’ll discover a different approach to distillation, called discontinuous distillation, where small batches of rum are processed with finesse and expertise. An introduction to tasting their rums will be offered at the end of the visit with an in-house guide.

We will then visit Domaine Longueteau: this distillery boasts over a century’s worth of expertise in the production of exceptional agricultural rums. Here you will meet people who are passionate about rums. You will learn about the continuous distillation process for agricultural rums and visit the distillery and fermentation area. You will taste their rums. You’ll stroll through the cane fields and discover how the soil can influence the taste of the rums… You’ll also enjoy a breathtaking view of the islands of Marie-Galante and Les Saintes.

On site, you can buy your favourite flavours at excellent prices (not included). Throughout the tour, our guide will tell you about the history of Guadeloupe’s agricole rums and offer you a tasting of local sweets made from sugar cane. At least 4 rum tastings will be offered during this tour.

After this stop, it’s time to board your minibus for the return trip to the Pointe-à-Pitre cruise terminal, where you will arrive at 1pm or 5pm (for those who started at 1pm).
