ITINERARY

MEETING POINT: OPTION 1 (POINTE-À-PITRE CRUISE TERMINAL)
If you are on a cruise ship calling at Pointe-Pitre, our driver-guide will be waiting for you from 8.30am or 9am (depending on your ship’s arrival time) at the entrance (outside) of the Pointe-à-Pitre cruise terminal (follow the signs for the “CITY CENTRE EXIT”) with a sign bearing your name. Further information will be provided at a later date.
MEETING POINT: OPTION 2 (HOTELS IN POINTE-À-PITRE OR LE GOSIER)
If you are staying in a hotel/apartment in Pointe-à-Pitre or Le Gosier, our driver-guide will collect you free of charge from your accommodation from 8.30 or 9.00 am. Further details will be provided at a later date. If you live outside Pointe-à-Pitre or Le Gosier, please let us know your address so that we can give you a quote if necessary. Please note: this option is only available for private tours or orders with a minimum number of people required for the tour. This option is not available for shared tours.
STEP 1: OLD POINTE-A-PITRE CITY WALKING TOUR
From the Cruise terminal, you first enter the old town of Pointe-à-Pitre. During a guided walk lasting around an hour and a half, you will pass by the most important sites in the centre. Pointe-à-Pitre is considered the cultural and economic centre of the island and has a long history. As you stroll through the streets of this quiet port city, you’ll learn more about its fascinating past from your local guide and admire some of the colonial-style buildings.
STEP 2: EXPLORE A MAGNIFICENT ISLAND
After a few impressions of Pointe-à-Pitre, you will head for the small uninhabited island of Le Gosier. To do this, you’ll board a motorboat and reach the island after a short crossing. Located off the coast of Le Gosier, to the south of Grand-Terre, Ile Verte is a paradise of crystal-clear water, fine sand and tropical palm trees. The island is quick to discover, so you can first get a taste of it on a short tour with your guide, then enjoy some free time. If you wish, you can take a dip in the refreshing water or simply sit back and enjoy the enchanting view. Organise your time as you wish!
STEP 3: BEACH BREAK AT SAINTE-ANNE VILLAGE
Back on the mainland, you continue your journey to Sainte-Anne. This small town is famous for its sandy beach, one of the most beautiful on the island. You have around an hour and a half of free time, which you can use as you wish. Recharge your batteries while the Caribbean sun shines on your belly, swim in the pleasantly warm crystal-clear sea and sit on the fine sand to relax to your heart’s content and enjoy the atmosphere. Meanwhile, you can stroll along the beach and buy delicious cocktails or snacks from the local beach bars. Finally, you will meet your guide at the agreed time and return to Pointe-à-Pitre, where you will be taken back to the cruise port on time.

After visiting this beach stop, it will be time to board our minibus for the return trip to the cruise terminal in Pointe-à-Pitre or to your hotel. Estimated return time is around 3.45pm.

  • Departure from the main entrance (outside) of the cruise terminal in Pointe-à-Pitre or from your hotel/accommodation in Pointe-à-Pitre or Le Gosier at 8.30 or 9 am. However, the timetable may change depending on the arrival time of your cruise ship.
  • Estimated return between 3:45 and the cruise terminal in Pointe-à-Pitre or your hotel in Pointe-à-Pitre or Le Gosier.
  • If you want to share your tour with others, you can put it on Cruise Critic. Most of the time this gives good results. You must do this yourself as we are not accepted on their site as a professional business.
  • This tour is not wheelchair accessible. Motorized scooters, collapsible wheelchairs, walkers, strollers, and luggage are not permitted. This tour is also not recommended for individuals with mobility restrictions.
  • Guests must be able to walk on both paved and unpaved surfaces, navigate uneven terrain, independently step in and out of the vehicle. Participants should be in good physical condition. Please review these requirements before deciding to join the tour.
  • We recommend wearing comfortable seasonal clothing, sunscreen, sunglasses, walking shoes, and a hat. Please ensure you are appropriately dressed for visits to any to local places of worship, as you could be refused entry.
  • Please note: the Hotel pick-Up option is only available for private tours or orders with a minimum number of people required for the tour. This option is not available for shared tours.
  • Please Note: The itinerary may be slightly altered depending on the weather or the traffic.
  • The price is based on a return journey from the cruise terminal in Pointe-à-Pitre to a hotel in Pointe-à-Pitre or Le Gosier.
  • The minimum age for our shared tours is 3 years. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Children: All passengers, including children, must have a seat reserved, in accordance with legal requirements, and the carriage of children on laps is not permitted. Please specify the child’s age when booking so that we can provide an appropriate car seat if necessary.
  • This small-group tour/shore excursion requires a minimum of 4 participants. If the number of participants is insufficient, we offer a postponement or a full refund.

Yes, this tour is available from the Pointe-à-Pitre cruise terminal in Guadeloupe.

All our customers can receive a full refund if the request for cancellation is made 7 days before the scheduled date of the excursion. See our terms and conditions for more details.

Any cancellation by THE CLIENT must be notified to us by email or telephone, whatever the reason, the following amounts will be due as fixed penalties:

  • If you cancel at least 7 full days before the scheduled departure or local start time, no cancellation fee will be applied.
  • If you cancel between 3 and 6 full days before the scheduled departure or local start time, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total price will be applied,
    unless cancellation is a result of (i) your ship’s inability to dock and/or disembark passengers; or (ii) the excursion, event or activity vendor’s inability to
    operate your respective excursion, event or activity and written notice is received by us within twelve (12) days.
  • If you cancel within 2 full days of the scheduled departure or start time of the service, a cancellation fee of 100% of the total price will be applied, unless
    cancellation is a result of (i) your ship’s inability to dock and/or disembark passengers; or (ii) the excursion, event or activity vendor’s inability to operate
    your respective excursion, event or activity and written notice is received by us within twelve (12) days.

Applicable refunds will be processed within thirty (30) days of the date we receive your cancellation request back to the original method of payment or by

Yes, it is possible for us to collect you from your hotel. However, this is only possible for bookings of a minimum of 4 people or as part of a private tour. In addition, all hotels located outside Pointe-à-Pitre or Le Gosier will be subject to additional charges.
