Your guide will wait for you next to the bar of Terminal number 1 of the the Pointe à Pitre Cruise Terminal with a sign bearing your name.

Your guide will meet you at the agreed time at the Gare Routière (coach station) de Bergevin (97110 Pointe-à-Pitre). Please go to Quai (platform) 12, on the side facing the main road and wait for him there. The tour ends at the original starting point.If you’re coming by car, you’ll find free parking spaces in the coach station car park. Hotel pick-up: this option is available only for bookings of at least 3 people made during the low season (May to October) or on days when no cruises are scheduled at the Pointe-à-Pitre Cruise Terminal. From the cruise terminal, you will first head for the old town of Pointe-à-Pitre. As you stroll through the streets of this quiet port city, you’ll immerse yourself in the island’s oldest spice market and have free minutes to visit them at your leisure. It’s the perfect place to discover and buy local spices, and explore stalls brimming with tropical fruits, local crafts and rums flavoured with exotic spices. It’s a great opportunity to take home authentic souvenirs and sample the richness of Guadeloupe’s produce. Your guide will introduce you to some of the local flavours on this walking tour.
Step back in time with your guide and discover what Guadeloupe was like 300 years ago on your next tour. You’ll visit a historic plantation still in operation at the Longueteau estate with your guide or one of our in-house guides. Discover the secrets of the rum distillation process on this French island, then enjoy a tasting of authentic rums and liqueurs. You’ll also be able to buy your favourite flavours at very attractive prices (not included).
After stopping at places brimming with exotic flavours and scents, your guide will lead you to a magnificent waterfall, accessible only after a short, easy walk. The trail will take you through the lush rainforest surrounding the waterfall. Your guide will show you various spots for swimming, known only to the locals. Swimming in this spring water is not only possible, but highly recommended. Don’t forget your swimwear.
After this stop, it will be time to board our minibus for the return trip to the cruise terminal in Pointe-à-Pitre or to your hotel. The estimated return time is around 1:30pm.

- Minimum 3 adults: Tour requires at least 3 bookings to operate (we’ll reschedule or refund if needed).
- Significant (Difficult) Physical Activity: A large amount of walking and or climbing is required, often over unpaved and uneven terrain. You should be in good physical health if you reserve one of this tour. Participants must be able to get on and off the transport. Our guides/drivers reserve the right to refuse participation to any customer who they believe may not be able to complete the tour due to their physical condition, injury, or illness. In such cases, full cancellation charges apply.
- This tour is not wheelchair accessible. Motorized scooters, collapsible wheelchairs, walkers, strollers, and luggage are not permitted. This tour is also not recommended for individuals with mobility restrictions.
- We recommend wearing comfortable clothes over your bathing suit, bring sunglasses, sunscreen, hat and beach towel from your ship.
- Distilleries will be booked once you have made your reservation.
- This tour includes samples of various rums. Must be 18 years of age to drink.
- The itinerary may be slightly altered depending on the weather or the traffic.
- The price is based on a return journey from the cruise terminal in Pointe-à-Pitre, a hotel in Pointe-à-Pitre or Le Gosier.
- The minimum age for our shared tours is 5 years. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Pricing: Prices are listed per person in Euros (EUR).
- Child policy: All participants, including children, require a booked seat. Carrying children on laps is not allowed.
- Child age: Indicate child’s age at booking for a proper car seat (if needed).
- Bring your own water bottle: We’re eco-friendly and no longer provide plastic bottles.
- Departure times : from November to April, departures are at 9am.
- This tour is not available on saturdays, christmas eve, new year’s eve, easter sundays, shrove sunday, monday and tuesdays/ash wednesdays.
